PINK members investigated a Walton Kentucky historic home in late September, 2008. It was a private residence so I have to be sensitive about that. The homeowners have had unexplained experiences for several years, unfortunately as of late, the amount of activity has died down. They have been rehabilitating the home over a relatively long period of time. A female resident has complained of voices, foot steps, and being “attacked” in her bed on at least two occassions, at one point something “punching” her in the face. There are several children living in the home and they seemed to be very aware of what was going on, and even accepting of it at this point. Yet they still seemed frightened and were having nightmares at times, and still remember the young boy there telling us “it’s going to scare them” before we started. There’s a graveyard on the property that includes predominately former family members, three former slaves’ graves, and at least one family friend who died on the same day as a family member, in the same fire, that occurred at another nearby location. The home and ownership of the property went back over 200 years. To be honest it was a quiet night and you hear these same stories from home owners over and over again, and then you get something like an EVP or an IR video anamolie that throws you off, and makes you wonder if these people are indeed telling the truth (beyond the fact you genuinely believe them). But that’s all anyone was able to capture. There weren’t any verifiable experiences, other than some strange feelings and anamolous K-2/EMF spikes here and there, it was just a quiet night. I do believe there’s apparently some paranormal activity taking place there that is legitimate, but to truly verify it, would require investigating when the activity is more abundant/stronger. I (Brad) only recorded a few IR anamolies that seemed legitimate (see video to the right). But nothing else to put them with, making it tough for people to judge.

The video below was the only thing captured worth considering, and well you can't really say that it's proof of a haunting in and of itself. |
